Main Street Merchants opened in downtown Conroe on Oct. 15. Owner Janese Sokulski said she and her daughter Carley Cremin opened the store under the idea of “homemade goods by homegrown artists.” The store stocks skin care products, jewelry, decor and many other items made by local artists. For its grand opening, Sokulski said the store will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. with live music and food at 208 A N. Main St., Conroe. 918-261-9769. www.facebook.com/merchantson208main
