Developer Riverbend is planning to build an Aloft Hotel near its Riverbend Apartment Homes at 301 N. Wesley Drive, League City. The hotel could be four to eight stories and have about 100-150 rooms. City officials said the developer, which has an existing planned unit development for the area, also wants to build a marina, restaurants and retail space in the area possibly along with more apartment buildings. Any sort of groundbreaking or announcement likely would not happen until spring. 855-322-7155.
