Landry’s Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses and the Del Frisco’s Grilles from the equity firm L Catterton for an undisclosed price, according to a news release. “We have been following Del Frisco’s for many years and tried once previously to acquire the Company in 2012 before it went public. It is a storied high end steakhouse brand with roots set in Texas and iconic locations throughout the country," Landry's owner Tillman Fertitta said in the release. The chain operates two Houston locations: a Double Eagle Steakhouse in the Galleria, 5061 Westheimer Road, Ste. 8060, Houston, and a Grille location at 1900 Hughes Landing Blvd., Ste. 500. L Catterton previously announced the acquisition of the publicly traded Del Frisco Restaurant Group in June for $650 million. This sale is expected to close by the end of October. www.delfriscos.com
