Grocery chain Kroger has partnered with Nuro, a robotics and artificial intelligence firm, to offer grocery delivery with self-driving cars. The service was launched at the Meyerland location, 10306 S. Post Oak Road, on April 16, serving customers in ZIP codes 77401 and 77096. As of mid-May, service is also available from its West University location, 5150 Buffalo Speedway, for 77005 and 77025, Kroger told Community Impact Newspaper. Orders placed online or by the grocer’s mobile app can be scheduled through the service, based on availability. www.kroger.com
