The Austin-based fast-casual deli chain Schlotzsky’s announced it will rebrand its more than 370 restaurants as Schlotzsky’s Austin Eatery this year and will transition its Houston-area locations to the new concept June 22.
The rebranding will include new food and beverage menu items in addition to in-store design changes, and some Schlotzsky’s locations will also serve wine, beer and offer happy hours. To mark the transition in Greater Houston, local Schlotzsky’s restaurants will hold grand reopening events June 22 featuring discounted The Original sandwiches and prize giveaways.
"The concept is a natural evolution of the brand, tapping into our 47-year heritage while accommodating the ever-changing consumer," said Robyn Seward, Schlotzsky’s vice president of marketing, in a company news release.
Schlotzsky’s operates three eateries in The Woodlands area at 522 Sawdust Road, Spring; 1620 Research Forest Drive, Shenandoah; and 515 FM 1488, Conroe.
