Champions Counseling Center, a family-focused center for individuals, couples, children and adolescents, opened Aug. 5 at 16000 Stuebner Airline Road, Ste. 285. The center aims to provide effective and compassionate treatment for trauma, relational problems, anxiety and depression, and to create positive life change through creative and collaborative counseling, according to a press release from the company. All the counselors are certified or working on certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is an evidence-based treatment for trauma.
