Spring's Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen kicked off charity program in April, donating food to nonprofit

In April, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Spring joined the companywide initiative—Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen Harvest program—to fight hunger in local communities. Each week, the restaurant donates food to 1960 Hope Center, an organization for the homeless. Donated items are a combination of fresh ingredients, such as vegetables and proteins, and hand-crafted dishes, such as soups, sauces, casseroles and pasta. 21001 I-45, Spring. 281-528-7629. www.cheddars.com
