A new location of specialty retail chain Batteries Plus Bulbs opened March 19 at 11930 Barker Cypress Road, Ste. 400, Cypress. The franchise provides access to nearly 60,000 different types of batteries—ranging from car batteries to cell phones batteries—as well as light bulbs and chargers.

The store's repair center offers cell phone repair services, including broken screen, charge port and button repair. Customers can have batteries replaced in phones, watches and keyless entry devices, and can also have battery packs rebuilt. The store offers free system checks and installation on most auto batteries.
