Slurp Ramen Factory will officially open Feb. 4 at 5530 W. Grand Parkway South, Ste. 550, Richmond.

Slurp Ramen Factory, 5530 W. Grand Parkway South, Ste. 550, Richmond, is expected to hold a soft opening by the end of January. The Asian-inspired minimalist restaurant offers traditional ramen with a contemporary twist that features menu items such as smoked Miso Salmon Salad. The restaurant will also serve beer, wine and sake.

Head chef Phil Guo said the restaurant will hold a tasting event on the first weekend of the grand opening. One hundred guests who join the tasting will get a sneak peek of the menu and new restaurant. Those wanting to participate can enter their names in a mailbox, which will be placed outside of the store in the coming weeks, or by entering through the restaurant's Facebook page expected to be created soon, Guo said.
