Toasted Yolk Cafe planning new Katy location off I-10 and Grand Parkway

The Toasted Yolk Café will open a new 4,500-square-foot location in the Shoppes at Grand Crossing in Katy, near the southwest corner of I-10 and the Grand Parkway. The breakfast and lunch restaurant is expected to open by early December. The restaurant will have a patio and offer menu items, such as meat and vegetarian egg scrambles, griddle items and sandwiches. The company has two Greater Houston area locations while more restaurants are planned for The Woodlands and Spring. www.thetoastedyolk.com

Harris County officials unveil new three-year $8.93M community-initiated mental health care initiative

The community care model will focus on 10 ZIP codes totaling about 300,000 residents that have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and suicide, and that have a lower utilization of behavioral health care services, by providing mental health education and training to members of the community.
