The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center will celebrate its first anniversary May 28. Located at 198 Kempner St., Sugar Land, this satellite location of the Children’s Museum of Houston reached 100,000 visitors April 7 and will hold a celebration May 20 with birthday-themed activities. The Discovery Center has seven exhibits designed for infants through age 12, which cover science, technology, engineering and mathematics, Vietnamese culture and temporary displays.
