Guest speakers, students performance groups and a living museum display will all be part of a 75th-anniversary celebration for Cy-Fair High School at 22602 Hwy. 290, Cypress, Sunday, Jan. 22, at 1:30 p.m. Participants will put together a digital time capsule in preparation for the 100th celebration in 2042.
A product of a 1939 consolidation between Cypress and Fairbanks school districts, the high school opened its doors Jan. 22, 1942 to students who previously attended “Rural School No. 5.”
