Erica and Clint Collins will reopen Haner's Bakery, located at 611 W. Main St., Tomball, on Oct. 7 under new ownership. The bakery closed in August.
"It's going to be essentially the same as it was before," Erica Collins said. "We're not going to change that much."
Collins said she is in the process of changing the bakery's name to For Real Dough since the bakery will use all-natural, real ingredients. The bakery will offer breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch as well as made-to-order family meals for delivery, such as casseroles and enchilada dishes.
"They're really just designed for people to cook in the oven, and 30 minutes later they can serve them to their families," Collins said.
All ingredients come from local suppliers, such as Gramen Farms, and are all-natural, GMO-free foods. The bakery offers pastries, breads, sandwiches and more. Free mimosas are available with Saturday and Sunday brunch.
The grand reopening event 6-9 p.m. Oct. 7 features a sampling of the menu and is free for families in the community to attend, Collins said.
