Serenity High School will mark its 20th anniversary Oct. 11. The school is located at 2550 Wilmeth Road, McKinney. The school is specifically intended for youth in recovery from substance abuse. To celebrate the anniversary, the McKinney ISD high school will host a birthday bash breakfast. The breakfast will be held from 7:30-9 a.m. at the McKinney ISD Community Event Center at the MISD Stadium, 4201 S. Hardin Blvd., McKinney. 469-302-7830. http://serenity.mckinneyisd.net
