Hugs Cafe opened its new back patio Oct. 14 at 224 E. Virginia St., McKinney. The patio will have a picnic table and two or three additional tables. Hugs Cafe is a nonprofit cafe run and operated primarily by adults with special needs. The cafe serves sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts.
