Ground was broken on a high school building for Founders Classical Academy of Flower Mound, located at 4901 Cross Timbers Road, on July 19.

The 34,000-square-foot, tuition-free public charter high school is set to open in 2020. According to a press release, the academy focuses on traditional liberal arts and sciences "with an orientation toward truth, beauty, and goodness that aims to cultivate wise and virtuous citizens."

The high school is being built adjacent to the academy's existing 42,000-square-foot kindergarten through eighth grade campus. 972-899-2521.
