Smoking Axes competitive axe-throwing facility is expected to open in mid-October at 790 S. Main St., Ste. 400, Keller. The indoor entertainment facility will have 18 lanes available. The family-friendly facility will also be open for corporate and team-building events and has a party room with dedicated targets. The Keller City Council approved a specific use permit for the facility on Sept. 3. Its co-owners are Gary Cox and Carlos Marroquin. 972-838-0677.

Barkman & Smith Physical Therapy opened its doors on Sept. 13 on Golden Triangle Boulevard in Fort Worth.
