The McKinney branch of the American Red Cross closed June 14 at 1450 Redbud Blvd., McKinney. An American Red Cross spokesperson said that while the brick-and-mortar location has closed, the American Red Cross is still fully operational in McKinney. Volunteers have continued to hold blood drives and training services, such as CPR training. These events will now be held at a mobile center or through a community partner, such as a local church.
