Costco tentatively plans to open July 25 at the northeast corner of Hardin Boulevard and US 380. Wanda Jorgenson, administrative assistant at Costco's real estate department, said July 25 is a tentative date and that an opening date depends on construction and other factors. The building will be approximately 150,000 square feet with more than 700 parking spaces and a members-only fuel station. Costco officials said the McKinney store would be slightly larger in size and will offer more items than its Frisco location. The membership wholesaler has stores throughout the area, including both in Plano and Frisco. www.costco.com
