ALDI grocery store is under construction in Allen on the southeast corner of Stacy Road and Greenville Avenue and is expected to open in spring 2017. The close to 11,000-squarefoot store will offer fresh meat, dairy, produce and household items. The grocery store chain seeks to eliminate overhead costs through cost-saving measures such as offering open carton displays.
