Goodwill Excel Center opens new location in South Austin

The Goodwill Excel Center—a public charter school that offers adults the chance to receive a high school diploma, professional certifications and take some post-secondary classes—opened a location on the American Youthworks campus in South Austin at 1901 E. Ben White Blvd., Austin, on Sept. 19, according to a news release. Specific vocational training programs with certification at the campus include information technology, health care and green construction. 512-744-1900. www.americanyouthworks.org
