Chocolate Drop Confections LLC, officially opened Sept. 5 as the first business in Cambria and Jordan’s Rail Switch, a new food truck park in downtown Buda, at 400 N. Main St.

The shop has been selling bakery and dessert items from a spot in Manchaca for two years, as well as visiting the Buda Downtown Farmers Market and other locations; it has just added to hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken sandwiches, french fries and street corn to the menu, among other items.  

A second truck, Mama Bear’s Uptown Eats, will be opening at Cambria and Jordan’s Rail Switch in the next few weeks. Two additional spaces in the park have not yet been leased.
