EVO Live will be a 150,000-square-foot state-of-the-art outdoor music and entertainment venue, seating around 15,000 people on 27 acres at Wiederstein Ranch, according to EVO Entertainment Group. EVO Live will offer live music concerts and act as a space for community events.
Behind a 72,000-square-foot EVO entertainment complex offering movies, bowling and games on the northeast corner of Wiederstein Road and I-35 in Schertz, EVO Live is expected to open in 2019, soon after the indoor complex in Feb. 2019.
"I couldn’t be any more excited to announce our plans for EVOLive," said EVO CEO Mitchell Roberts, a San Marcos resident and Texas State University graduate. "When complete, it’ll be one of the largest outdoor music venues in Texas, playing host to the biggest artists in the world."
With other locations in San Marcos, Kyle and New Braunfels, the Schertz venue will be the company’s fifth location overall in the greater San Antonio area.
