Roofer Chicks, a woman-owned residential and commercial roofing company celebrated, its 10-year anniversary in New Braunfels on July 1.
The details
The business, owned by Ami Feller, does roof repairs and replacements on various roof types including metal, shingle, tile and flat. Roofer Chicks also offers other exterior services such as windows, gutters, siding and paint.
Feller said Roofer Chicks was known as Feller Roofing 10 years ago before rebranding to Roofer Chicks in 2021.
“I had always been known around town as the Roofer Chicks and we were trying to get more women on the roof and so the name change just made sense,” Feller said in a statement to Community Impact. “Besides, it’s a lot more fun!”
Other than New Braunfels, Roofer Chicks provides services to other areas including San Marcos, South Austin, San Antonio, Universal City, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Spring Branch, Kyle and Buda.

Feller said they are in the process of purchasing the lot next door to their current location.
“In the future, we hope to put up a shop building for carrying inventory and also to have an on-site metal shop,” Feller said.
