On Jan. 16, Gymboree Group Inc. announced it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and plans to close all Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores and sell its Janie and Jack stores.

Gymboree has two locations in Northwest Austin at The Arboretum, 10000 Research Blvd., Ste. 243, Austin, and at Lakeline Mall, 11200 Lakeline Mall Drive, Cedar Park. Crazy 8 has one location at Lakeline Mall. A Gymboree store employee said Feb. 8 no closing date has been set yet.
