A new, locally owned outlet furniture store has opened in Cedar Park.

CH Outlet—which co-owner Melissa Grant calls the "coolest outlet store" in the Austin area—is at 11066 Pecan Park Blvd., right beside Crescent House Furniture, the original business she co-owns with her husband, Stacy.

According to Grant, the outlet is an extension of the main store. The biggest difference is the outlet store does not offer furniture customization, but the main store does.

A grand opening party is planned for 3 p.m. Aug. 29.
