Frontier Bank of Texas will open in the Leander area in early October. Located at 2080 US 183, Ste. 230, Leander, this will be the community bank’s sixth location. The Leander location will be a full-service branch with a state-of-the art ATM. Frontier Bank has a mobile application, enabling people to make mobile deposits on their phones.

Frontier Bank, which is based out of Elgin, began in 2007. The bank has 600 shareholders in Texas, and loan decisions are made and funded locally. Since the bank is local, loans are closed quickly and clients receive excellent service with short turnaround time, said Jennifer Mauck, branch manager and vice president of commercial banking.
