Note: This article has been updated to show that iSports plans to be renamed The Crossover, not the name previously reported that had been confirmed by Perardi Development and the developer's website. The website has since been updated to reflect the correct name. Perardi Development, which is overseeing the construction of a 240,000-square-foot indoor sports complex in Cedar Park, has changed the name of the development from iSports Training and Development Center to The Crossover, according to Parker development coordinator Parker Dunn. "The name change to The Crossover is official," Dunn said in an email Oct. 22. "We are currently working on the marketing push to let everyone know." Scheduled to be completed in spring 2020, the facility is being built inside Scottsdale Crossing, a 120-acre development east of Toll 183A near the Scottsdale Road exit, according to Perardi Development. The Crossover will feature two NHL-size hockey rinks; two full-size turf fields—one indoor, one outdoor—for football, soccer and lacrosse; sports training; retail and dining storefronts; and games, such as laser tag, according to the developer. 888-377-2786. www.isportscedarpark.com
