The Women’s Advisory Council to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lakeway, 100 Medical Parkway, Lakeway, celebrated its first anniversary Sept. 13. Chairwoman Rochelle Storin leads the organization that supports hospital programs through social, educational and interactive programs. During the past year, the group sponsored a women’s seminar series and disaster-readiness training, partnered on an open house and a heart walk, secured over 10,000 books for the book cart service for patients and breast cancer awareness month events. Storin and Rohini Bochaton, wife of the hospital’s president, Philippe Bochaton, partnered to launch the group in 2015.
