KMFA, a local independent public radio station that specializes in classical music, will move to a new home at 36 Comal St., Austin. The new studio will be part of a mixed-use redevelopment of the Rebekah Baines Johnson Center called the Hatchery. The 18,000-square-foot building will open in late 2020, tripling the size of KFMA’s current studio on North Lamar Boulevard. According to KMFA, the space will allow for "new amenities including performance and recording spaces." 512-476-5632. www.kmfa.org
