After just over a year in business, Turntable Eatery will be closing its doors July 31,
according to a post on the restaurant's official Facebook page.
The space at 5111 Airport Blvd., Austin that was formerly House Pizzeria will not be dormant for long. Cluck-n-Burger, operated by husband-and-wife team Aaron and Kassandra Esserman, is set to take over the lease at the space, and the Essermans hope to open in September.
Cluck-n-Burger first opened in 2018, and operates food trucks at the Violet Crown Social Club at 1111 E. Sixth St., Austin and the South Austin Beer Garden at 10700 Manchaca Road, Austin. This will be the first brick-and-mortar location for the burger spot, and according to a news release, both trucks will remain open.
