Southwestern University celebrated the completion of the Fondren-Jones Science Center renovations and the new Floyd and Annetta Jones Plaza on Oct. 4. The state-of-the-art science center was completed in two phases and includes new classrooms, teaching laboratories, a conference room, computer laboratories and office spaces. Funding for the $37 million expansion and renovation came from a donation by Southwestern University Life Trustee Jack Garey and his family as well as from other donors.
