A Southwest Austin craft cocktail restaurant announced Dec. 18 it will open a second location next spring in North Austin.

District Kitchen + Cocktails owners and brothers Amir and Ali Hajimaleki, who also own Oasthouse Kitchen + Bar on RM 620 in the Four Points area, will serve prime wagyu steaks, seasonal burgers, and scallops and risotto as well as offer a raw bar and new dishes at the new location. The restaurant will also offer happy hour specials and weekend brunch.

District North will be located in the former Suzi's China Grill + Sushi, which closed in mid-December, at 7858 Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin.

The Hajimalekis are also planning a third concept called Roya that will serve Persian cuisine and is still in early stages of development.
