Mikayla Stewart is the new owner and director of the Central Texas Ballet, previously known as Central Texas Ballet Conservatory, as of June 9. She said the organization prides itself on having the right class for those pursuing a dance career or just dancing for fun. Stewart is trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and contemporary dance. Founded in 2010 ballet classes at Central Texas Ballet are offered for age 18 months and older at 101 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos.
