Family-run Gage Furniture, located at 7725 Burnet Road, Austin, is closing after more than 75 years in business.

On Nov. 22, the company announced the closing on its Facebook page, writing: "As Austin's oldest furniture store, we hope to find another avenue to continue to bring quality furniture at excellent prices to the Austin area."

A spokesperson said a closing date has not yet been scheduled and did not give a reason for the closing.
