Northwest Austin residents Laura Hopkins and Gary Cobb will open Wild Bird Center of Lakeway, 2127 Lohmans Crossing, Ste. 316, in mid-August in the Lakeway Town Center.

The shop will be oriented to backyard birding, including bird houses, feeders, seed and baths. It will be the third Texas location and the first Austin-area site of the national chain.
