The San Marcos High School robotics team competed in the Capital Boosting Engineering Science and Technology competition Oct. 28 and 29. The competition pits teams of middle and high school robotics teams against each other in a contest to see which team can design, build and demonstrate a remote-controlled device built from a box of raw materials.
The SMHS team won awards for the BEST Team Exhibit, Most Photogenic Design and Outstanding Mentor, which was awarded to SMHS sophomore Liam Tidwell. 512-393-6744.
