Lewisville City Council will hold its annual budget workshop Aug. 17, roughly two weeks later than expected.
The city chose to delay the meeting to wait on a more compete property tax roll report from the Denton Central Appraisal District, a July 30 release said. The report allows for the city to calculate a property tax rate for the upcoming budget year, the release said.
The meeting, originally scheduled for Aug. 1, will take place before the regularly scheduled council meeting Aug. 17.
The budget workshop is expected to be held via Zoom and is open to the public.
