Voters in Leander will cast ballots Nov. 4 to decide who will replace City Council member David McDonald, who currently serves in the seat for Place 3 but submitted his resignation earlier in the year in order to run for Williamson County Commissioners Court Precinct 2.
McDonald was re-elected in May, and his current three-year term was expected to end in May 2028. Voters will decide who will finish his term, according to the city's website.
