Liberty Hill ISD incumbent Kendall Carter has been re-elected to the Place 2 board of trustees seat, according to final unofficial election day results reported from Williamson County. However, Place 1 incumbent Terry Smith was defeated by opponent Chris Neighbors.
In the four-way race for Place 1, Neighbors secured 33.96% of the vote, or 758 voters.
One of Neighbors’ opponents Brandon Canady stayed close in the race, garnering 32.8% of the vote, or 732 votes. Candidate Cory Milam received 25.49% of the vote, or 569 votes, and incumbent Terry Smith obtained 7.75% of the vote, or 173 votes.
