"Congratulations to the winners," Sharon Yager said in a statement to Community Impact. "I hope to do some volunteering and getting on committees with the school district to contribute to the success of the school district."
"I reached out to congratulate Chris Neighbors about half an hour ago and we talked briefly," Albert Kennedy said in a statement to Community Impact. "I told him now that the campaign is over, we're on the same team in wanting what's best for our kids, teachers, and community."
Kennedy also said he would explore "other opportunities to be of service to the district and greater community" after the summer.

With all 18 precincts reporting, incumbents Chris Neighbors, Kendall Carter and Jamie Etzkorn will continue on in their capacities as Liberty Hill ISD's board of trustees Places 1, 2 and 4, according to unofficial results.
Neighbors won the race for Place 1 with 57.30%, or 589 votes. Challenger Albert Kennedy had 36.28%, or 373 votes, while Kevin Weber had 6.42%, or 66 votes.
Etzkorn won the race for Place 4 with 56.38%, or 561 votes while Sharon Yager had 31.66%, or 315 votes. Antonio Canas had 11.96%, or 119 votes.
Kendall Carter, who ran unopposed, received 795 votes.
"Thank you to the voters," Carter said in a statement to Community Impact. "I'm proud to represent the community on the board. I look forward to supporting the LHISD with fiscal responsibiility and building champions in academics, character, and community. We have a bright future as we continue to grow the best district in Texas.

Chris Neighbors and Jamie Etzkorn are leading in the elections for Liberty Hill ISD's board of trustees Places 1 and 4, according to unofficial early voting results from Williamson County. Kendall Carter, who ran unopposed, is projected to win Place 2.

Incumbent Chris Neighbors has 59.30%, or 440 votes counted so far, for Place 1. Albert Kennedy has 33.83%, or 251 votes, while Kevin J. Weber trails with 6.87%, or 51 votes.
Another incumbent, Jamie Etzkorn, has an early lead in the race for Place 4 with 56.19%, or 404 votes. Sharon Yager follows with 32.41%, or 233 votes, while Antonio Canas has 11.40%, or 82 votes.
Kendall Carter, the sole candidate for Place 2, has received 590 votes so far.
