The Liberty Hill ISD board of trustees unanimously voted to approve increases to employee’s compensation by roughly $1.3 million May 18.
This increase comes as the second phase of raises for district employees, with teachers receiving increased pay last month slightly above $1.9 million. Across the two phases, the district has increased about $3.2 million in districtwide compensation increases aimed at recruiting and retaining staff.
The details
LHISD approved a 3% pay increase at pay grade midpoints. In total, support staff received an increase of $358,251 in total, while auxiliary staff received $250,764. Professional staff will see a $661,955 increase.
This increase applies to employees who have worked at least 90 days between the 2025-26 school year. With the approved compensation increase, the district will also update pay grade structures.
