Liberty Hill ISD approves pay raises for staff, invests $3.2M districtwide

As board members and district staff noted, pay increases for district employees are possible due to the passage of Proposition A in 2025, which allocated $10.7 million toward retaining and recruiting teachers while supporting programming for students.

To review compensation and align with the market norms, LHISD collaborated with the Texas Association of School Boards. The market analysis included statewide data from districts with 7,000-12,999 students, nonschool employers in the Austin area, and neighboring school districts—including Austin ISD, Leander ISD and Georgetown ISD.
