Both Leander ISD and Liberty Hill ISD have announced a delayed start for classes Jan. 28, due to lingering freezing temperatures and potential for icy conditions early in the morning.
What you need to know
Leander ISD schools will have a delayed start on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Start times will be:
- Elementary at 9:30 a.m.
- High School at 10:15 a.m.
- Middle School at 11:05 a.m.
“Student and staff safety is our top priority. We also trust families and staff to make the best decisions for their circumstances if travel in your area remains unsafe,” the update states. “Student tardies will be excused with a parent note.”
