New cafes, bars and stores continue to pop up around the Leander area. Here are a dozen to keep in mind.

Mi Mundo Coffeehouse & Roastery
The local coffee shop opened its first Cedar Park location, owner Rahul Bhosale said. Mi Mundo serves organic coffee, espresso drinks, teas and smoothies. It also offers a food menu that includes baked goods, tamales and breakfast tacos.
Perfume Palace
The perfume and cologne store is now open in Lakeline Mall. The store sells scents for women and men and is open seven days a week, staff said.
The Pulao Company
The new Indian restaurant is now offering a variety of rice dishes. Additionally, the restaurant features a range of drinks, including a fresh juice bar, beer, chai, and falooda—a cold dessert drink. Chaat and pani puri are also on the menu.

Pepper Lunch
Japanese fast-casual restaurant Pepper Lunch will center around a unique dining experience where meals arrive on a 500-degree cast-iron plate so that diners can then mix, season and finish cooking their meals themselves. The location will offer the restaurant chain's signature beef pepper rice dish, steaks and teriyaki dishes.
PNC
PNC Bank plans to open a second Leander branch north of its current location on US 183. The new site will include a drive-through ATM.
Tifa Chocolate & Gelato
Tifa Chocolate & Gelato will move into Northline next year, marking its first location in Central Texas. The restaurant serves various gelato flavors, espressos, hot chocolate and pastries. A professionally trained chef will be in charge of the gelato while the business opens.
Manyavar and Moher
The Indian clothing brand will open in Leander just in time for major South Asian holidays. The menswear brand will share the same space as a sister store, Indian Attire, so shoppers can find clothing and accessories for men, women and children.

Haywire
The Texas-focused restaurant chain will open a new location at the CedarView development in Cedar Park, according to Jami Sharp, head of public relations and communications at FB Society, which owns Haywire. The menu at Haywire is inspired by the various flavors of Texas, including Tex-Mex, barbecue, Gulf seafood and more. Dishes range from mini elk tacos and Gulf Coast ceviche to venison chili and chicken-fried steak.

H-E-B upgrades
H-E-B plans to upgrade two grocery stores in Georgetown and Leander, as part of its Fresh Initiative, which will renovate stores across Central Texas. The upgrades to both locations will cost approximately $800,000 combined and will begin in August, according to the filing.
Piada Italian Street Food
Piada Italian Street Food, a chain serving Italian cuisine, will begin construction in Northline this summer, according to a state project filing. Typical Piada menus include pasta bowls, salads and Italian flatbread wraps.

M Gelly Luxe Boards
M Gelly Luxe Boards has celebrated a year of offering charcuterie catering for customers in the Liberty Hill, Leander and North Austin area. In addition to boards, the business offers a charcuterie cart for indoor and outdoor events as well as a monthly charcuterie box subscription.
Whole Foods Market
The Whole Foods Market in Cedar Park is expanding, according to a spokesperson for the company. The store will expand into existing adjacent space, adding about 8,000 square feet, the spokesperson said. There are no plans to close the store during the renovations.
