If public school is not the right fit for your child, there are several private and charter schools in Cedar Park and Leander.
Private schools are independently run and typically funded by tuition. Some options include religious institutions and Montessori schools.
Montessori is a “method of education which tailors learning to the unique needs of each child,” said Kalika Sarathkumara, head of school for both Cedar Park Montessori and Sapientia Montessori.
Charter schools are specialized, tuition-free public schools offering educational options that may not be available in regular public schools.
