WHAT WE REPORTED: Several mixed-use projects, which can include retail, office, restaurant, housing and other uses, are in the works in Cedar Park, such as Indigo Ridge North and Presidio.
The city of Cedar Park is also planning to redevelop the area around Bell Boulevard between Buttercup Creek Boulevard and Park Street as a new mixed-use district.
Leander City Council approved up to $15 million in infrastructure funding for Northline, a proposed mixed-use project near Toll 183A.
THE LATEST: Cedar Park City Council selected RedLeaf Properties Jan. 10 to be the master developer partner with the city for the Bell Boulevard redevelopment project.
Developer Alex Tynberg said Northline is expected to break ground in mid-2019.
Indigo Ridge North developer Todd Madden said he submitted a site development permit request to the city of Cedar Park for a large part of the Village District—which could include shopping, a hotel and more.
The Presidio project grew to around 200 acres at the end of 2018. Alamo Drafthouse will break ground at Presidio in the spring.
