Lakeway City Council will begin with a special meeting at 2 p.m. July 17, followed by its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The special meeting docket includes a presentation for a Lakeway compensation study as well as citizen comments and council discussion regarding the budget for fiscal year 2023-24. Several city departments will be submitting budget requests for the upcoming year including the Lakeway Economic Development, Wildlife Advisory and Arts committees.
The requests will be followed by a council work session for the FY 2023-24 budget.
The regular meeting will have a docket of various ordinances, including one that would amend the FY 2022-23 budget with an increase in expenditures and revenue for transportation and bond projects.
