Bee Cave's haunted trail, tunnel to return for second year in a row

Bee Cave’s annual haunted trail will return Oct. 30 with an extended haunted tunnel. The trail begins behind Chick-fil-A at 3600 RR 620 S., Ste C, Bee Cave.

The first event goes from 4-6 p.m. and will be child friendly, according to a press release from the city of Bee Cave. There will be candy, a story walk hosted by the Bee Cave Public Library and a scavenger hunt.

This year, the city is also adding a trunk-or-treat with local businesses, Bee Cave Communications Director Jenny Hoff said.

Contributing sponsors include Target, Hotworx, Chick-fil-A, Keystone Bank, Hill Country Indoor and Friends of the Bee Cave Parks Foundation.

From 7-9 p.m. there will be a haunted trail more suitable for older children, Hoff said.

“We are so happy to continue this tradition we started in 2021 that brought out hundreds of kids and adults to our beautiful Bee Cave trails,” Bee Cave Mayor Kara King said in the press release. “And we’re thrilled to offer a spookier experience once the sun sets for our older kids to enjoy the night before Halloween. We hope to grow this event every year.”

The event is free and open to the public.
