Bee Cave BuzzFest, the family-friendly award-winning light, art and music festival, will return to the Hill Country Galleria on Nov. 9-11.

The details

The annual three-day immersive festival, hosted by the Bee Cave Arts Foundation in conjunction with the city of Bee Cave and the Hill Country Galleria, is curated by DadaLab—an organization that works at the intersection of art, science and technology, according to a news release.

The festival will transform the Hill Country Galleria Central Plaza into “an open-air, urban playground of new media art,” according to the news release. The event will feature sound installation video art projections as well as immersive multichannel sound, original electronic music compositions and choreographed performances, that will include light-reactive costumes and props.

Additionally, attendees can find installations at The Hive at Bee Cave Arts Foundation.

The festival not only offers numerous tech-art installations, but also a plethora of live music, including:

DJs Bucher Bear and Soundfounder will also be keeping the music going all three days of the festival.

“We’re excited to have the University of Texas outfitting our Hive studio this year,” said Deby Childress, Bee Cave Arts Foundation director, in the release. “There will be a video game element that interacts with the players and so much more to intrigue and delight.”
