According to unofficial Travis County voting results released at 9:15 p.m. with all precincts reporting, Lake Travis ISD board of trustee newcomer Tiffany Bennett remains in the lead over incumbent Robert Aird. Results show Bennett has received 3,423 votes, or 53.89%, against Aird's 2,929 votes, or 46.11%.
"I'm so thankful for the community support and I'm looking forward to getting started working for our district this month," Bennett said in a statement to Community Impact.
Newcomer Natalie Nugent also remains in the lead over incumbent Keely Cano. Results show Nugent has received 3,479 votes, or 54.76%, against Cano's 2,874 votes, or 45.24%.
"I'm so very thankful for the support of voters in the Lake Travis community," Nugent said in a statement to Community Impact. "This is a huge vote of confidence for the future of our students and teachers. I'm truly humbled by tonight's results and excited to advocate for our public schools."

Based on unofficial Travis County election results released at 8:43 p.m.:
- Bennett leads with 2,647 votes (57.31%) against Aird's 1,972 votes (42.69%)
- Nugent leads with 2,692 votes (58.31%) against Cano's 1,925 votes (41.69%)

On the ballot is incumbent Robert Aird and Bennett for Place 6, and incumbent Keely Cano and Nugent for Place 7.
Based on Travis County early voting election results:
- Bennett leads with 2,635 votes (57.28%) against Aird's 1,965 votes (42.72%)
- Nugent leads with 2,681 votes (58.31%) against Cano's 1,917 votes (41.69%)

Meet the candidates
Aird was first elected to the board in 2023. He works in finance and investment, and plans to prioritize developing the district's new campuses, strengthening the special education program, improving selective enrollment and growing the pre-K program.
Bennett is an LTISD parent and volunteer. She serves as a vice president of operations, and will prioritize the budget, work to manage the district's "growing pains" and improve anti-bullying efforts.
Cano was first elected to the board in 2023. She is an LTISD parent and business owner, and will prioritize leveraging capital assets and revenue possibilities along with authoring and refining a districtwide curriculum as a School Health Advisory Committee member.
Nugent is an LTISD parent and a PTO president. She serves as vice president of customer experience for a software company, and will prioritize protecting academics, supporting and retaining teachers, managing the budget and improving student safety.

Did you know?
LTISD trustees are elected at-large, meaning all registered voters living within LTISD boundaries can vote for each place on the ballot, as trustees represent the entire district instead of a portion of it. Trustees serve three-year terms once elected.
